I was lucky enough to begin playing drums and percussion at age 10. My first teacher was not a drummer, but he knew the fundamentals necessary for properly playing drums and percussion, and how to prepare his students with the work ethic, basic knowledge, and enthusiasm necessary for them to succeed as future drummers and percussionists. Thanks to him and the tools he prepared me with, I continue to grow as a musician, and currently work as a freelance drummer regularly with several local bands and a Nashville-based recording artist.

I am convinced that my curriculum and drum lessons structure will properly prepare my students for success as they move from the beginner to intermediate level of playing drums and percussion.
